The picturesque Rochdale Canal runs straight by.

Hebden Bridge is in the heart of the Calder Valley,  set in stunning scenery amidst the Pennines, fantastic hill walking, including the Pennine Way, and the Calderdale Way.

The ancient village of Heptonstall overlooks Hebden Bridge.

Brontė Country and historic Haworth are only a short drive away.

By Rail:
The Smithery is just two minutes’ walk from the railway station; straight down to the main road and turn left.

By Road:
The Smithery is on the A646 which goes through Hebden Bridge. From the Manchester direction pass The Picture House and the Marina and it’s immediately on your right.
From Halifax it’s on the left after the turn-off to the Railway Station.

Parking:
There’s parking at the New Road Pay & Display car park next to The Smithery and is free overnight between 20:00 and 08:00, otherwise it’s 80p per hour.

Cycling?
You can leave your bike safely in the entrance hall.
